Are you a list maker? Some how 2016 ended and I forgot to get my 2017 planner refill! I’m not sure how that happened but it did and I felt a little “naked” not having my “list Bible” with me. My new refill arrived on the 5th! Wahoo, life is much better now! Ha!
Are you working on your projects? I think I’ve been working on several different ones, chipping away.
We had a sew day in LaPorte Friday and Saturday and I got to hang out with a few girls that had time to sit and sew. I missed the ones that couldn’t come, maybe next time.
I worked on getting backs and I pieced some batting for 3 of my small quilts. Whoosh, I’m glad those are done and off to the quilter. I even got my backing ready for my Red Crinoline, Oak Alley off.
I got my Primitive Gatherings, Among Friends week 5 all cut up and ready for my papers to be removed. David is kind enough to be willing to pull papers off for me. That is such a great help for me, thank you, babe! I really appreciate your help. Now, I need to conquer the ironing task!
After that I was able to work on my Lori Holt, Farm Girl Vintage blocks. In all, I got 6 more blocks done, and best of all I only have 3 more to make. Wahoo!
For the Houston area we sure had some cold weather, temps around 24 as the low 2 nights in a row. Well Saturday morning I did a recon on all my flowerbeds and plants and they are all in awful shape and the same for our house. I guess I need to investigate several bedding covers for next year, as I think these are goners! David did go over to LP today and did the yard and cleaned up the leaves – that part looks great!
This afternoon, I worked on the new Primitive Gatherings, Triangle Gatherings sew along. I decided to use an indigo and a blue shirting and I decided to stick with the 6 inch finished block.
I also began planning the finishing of my Magic of Christmas blocks; I have to digest it all in my mind. Ha!
I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
