Well I did it! I finally got the “kiss” tag stitched down and wrote on the tag. Now really – just how difficult was that? Not near as much work as it took me to procrastinate all this time. Ugh!

Kiss block done
There’s more! I even got the other block done too! I got my white clover marking pen out and did my markings on the block and now it is done too!

We had a bit of rough weather this morning and Mom and Dad got a rough dose of high winds and rain. They lost their car cover and tree limb fell on their bedroom wall and another limb fell on their car. That limb totally took out their windshield and dented in the driver side fender. What a mess it was!

their car
David and I went over there a little past noon and worked until after 5. David and I managed to get the car cover and limbs all moved to the curb and David even cleaned up their yard. Pin oak leaves everywhere! I did as much as I could and then went inside and visited with Mom while David did all the real heavy tree hauling and leaf blowing.
David is such a workhorse and is very kind and willing to be so helpful. David, we all appreciate what you do, your sacrifice is truly amazing! Your selfless acts are beyond words and I know it wasn’t what you had planned for your day off. I love you for all you do!
While David was working I also got my Primitive Gatherings, My Crazy Life blocks in week 11 all cut out. I was able to work on them while at the Baytown guild meeting tonight.

these are ready for thread
I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
Ronda
