Last night was the Baytown guild meeting so I thought I would do binding while I was at the meeting. I wanted to finish my Red Heritage Star quilt, pattern by Red Crinoline Quilts.
I got my binding, sleeve and label done and on the quilt. I packed my snips, needle and my clips. I even packed cream-colored thread since my label was light, but I completely forgot about packing “red” thread for my binding! I didn’t even notice that until I sat down to sew. Ugh! I was “sew” disappointed! I did get my label sewn down.
I finally got around to getting my Primitive Gatherings, Magic of Christmas block 7. Done and now I can add it to the other ones!
This afternoon, David and I hung our new sign at the retreat house. We did it right after he got off from work and the sun was setting so I didn’t get a full picture, but I wanted to share it anyway.
Tonight during the debate, David and I decided to watch an old movie, Cast Away with Tom Hanks. It is hard to believe that this movie was made in 2000. It was still good! Ha! I might add, much better than suffering through the debate.
I was able to use my time wisely, Grasshopper and put on my binding that I planned on doing last night! Wahoo, I have a total finish of my Red Heritage Star quilt.
I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
