I have so much fun doing what I get to do every day, I know there are always the “yucky” things, but luckily the good outweighs the bad. I went border shopping on Monday and as you might guess – my go to color is always red. I had something in particular that I wanted, which I think is worse than not having a clue! I went to the Pony and then to Fabric’s Etc. and made my final decision there. I chose a Paula Barnes fabric from R&B Tavern. I sure like the red with the little hint of black. Thanks for your help Ramona and Tina! Since I got the fabric, I had to finish my churn dash quilt top Monday evening and I really like it. It gets to go to the beauty shop where it gets transformed pretty soon. I’m sending it to my great friend, Cathy! I can wait to see what she looks like when she comes back home!
This morning I wanted to share a couple of things before I head out to go to Stonecreek Lodge in Kountze – I’m helping Cynthia England with her retreat. First, is my angel trumpet – she is singing a sweet song today. They sure make me smile when she is blooming.
Also, we have a return visitor on our front porch; our dove came back to nest. She didn’t come back last year, but she is here now. I can’t wait to see her little birdies.
Y’all have a great day out there! I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
