Saturday I got to host the Easy Piecer’s bee and we had a great time. I got to show off the house to some of those that didn’t get to see it during the Open House that I had last month. I get a lot of pleasure doing this – showing off the house that is! I seem to never get tired of being there and just piddling around adjusting things.
Before everyone got there I got to take a few photos of the landscaping. They aren’t completely finished yet, but I really am in awe of it all. One of my favorite places in the entire house is the front porch and now that the landscaping is done, I love it even more. I enjoy just being there. We had two fans installed on the front porch so it should always be an inviting place even when it gets hot!
The group enjoyed the craft room and it was wonderful to be able to share it. I told them they were my very first “work crew” and they loved it.
I also took a few photos of some of the updated decorations. Knowing me, this will always be a work in progress! I love to add little bits and pieces to make things a little more interesting.
While the bee was there I got to work on my Quiltworx, Fire Island Hosta pattern for my retreat with Denise at the end of the month at Wimberley Quilt Ranch. Needless to say I didn’t get as much done as I’d like, but one thing I can count on is that it is still waiting on me! Ha!
I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
