A Little Closer

I’m happy to report that my kitchen at the retreat house is a little closer to being complete. I’ve about decided not to ask when things are going to be installed; it is a little safer that way. I don’t have to worry about being disappointed when there is a delay with installation.

John has been working hard with the kitchen. We have drawer bases! They even offer a soft-close feature! They are amazing! The drawer fronts won’t be installed until after the countertops go on. These drawers will flank the stove.

We or I made a change of the back door on the house. It is installed and now has to be finished out. Once the electric meter is moved to the back of the craft room the siding will be finished out. You know how one thing leads to another – well it definitely not any different with this house.

Notice we have 3 of these doors – we have one facing the back too!

Grant was busy today; he even trimmed out the front windows of the craft room.

Upon my arrival from work David built a fire. They smell so good, I love them and I am really enjoying the colder weather!

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
Ronda
