We Have Piers

The city came out and looked over plumbing and did a pre-view of our concrete. We were approved and that is a good thing. The pour was planned to begin at 11, but that was delayed to 1:00 p.m. and then that was delayed to about 3:45.

The good news is we did finally get concrete delivered just as the rain came, but they still did the pour and that is a wonderful thing. We also have one giant mess at the house, but I’m not complaining about that so much I’m very thankful that it got poured and now I need for the rest of the Houston area to get the rain and not us until we get he slab poured. A huge thanks goes out to David for going back and forth to the house to be there for the pour.

David had to show that the hole was deep enough

David worked more on the sheetrock in the den, he removed the mantel above the fireplace and the sheetrock. It sure looks different in there!

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
