Friday morning David and I drove to Tyler to celebrate Adley’s 1st birthday. It is hard to believe that this time last year we did the very same trip, time sure flies by. It was nice to not have to work on the house, so we got to rest up for the next phase!
Brok and Candice even drove down from Arkansas and then they head this way for more time with family and other stuff.
Adley just started walking and was getting around pretty good and she loved the splash park in Whitehouse, but being with all the family and being spoiled all weekend had it toll – it sure tired her out!
I wanted to share this little dialog between my son, Kyle and 5-year-old grandson, Hunter. Kyle was in the kitchen looking through one of the drawers.
Hunter: “What are you looking for?”
Kyle: “I’m looking for a needle in a haystack.”
Hunter: “What’s a haystack?”
Kyle chuckled and then he heard some noises and he turns to Hunter.
Kyle: “what are you doing?”
Hunter: “I’m looking for a haystack!”
We had a lot of very special family time Friday and Saturday!
I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
