Saturday was our last full day of sewing, kind of sad, but we have had a great time. Today at we had a wedding here at the hotel, it was pretty exciting to have a bride come through sewing retreat. I got a few pictures of her; it was fun being in the peanut gallery.
We received the last of the lovies today; those are really a lot of fun! If you are having a group of friends get together it sure if fun to hand out the challenge to your group – it is like Christmas time!
We also got the rest of our blue 9-patches handed out today too. It was fun to play with these and to see what everyone’s interpretation of the block was.
Brenda worked on her blocks and decided to do hers differently, it looks good!
Here’s what I have so far! Now I need to work on how to finish it off.
I’m made progress on my Red Crinoline Quilt pattern Star of the West, it is coming along, but I still have a long way to go.
One of the best things about coming here is the special treatment that we receive here. Susan and her gracious staff treat us so very well. The food is wonderful here and should you want to come and have a great time, you won’t be disappointed!
I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
