This morning Gloria P. drove me to the airport, and as I got out they assisted me with my luggage. He picked up the small one and said, “Whoa, what do you have in there, books?” I told him, “No, it was sewing stuff”. He weighed them and guess what, they both weighed 49 pounds. I couldn’t believe it! The little one weighed 49 pounds and the big one only weighed 49 pounds – regardless, I was one happy packer! I called Gloria and told her the good news! ☺
It took forever to get home, the flight didn’t leave on time, it was 40 minutes late, but we had extra cushion time in Ft. Lauderdale and I slept all the way there, I didn’t wake up until the wheels hit the runway.
It was 2.5-hour flight from Ft Lauderdale to Houston. One great thing is, I completely stitched one of my cornerstones in my Primitive Gatherings “Words to Live By” borders. Yippee!
Fortunately I was in Hobby a little early! Thanks to Brenda for picking me up! We had a great visit and lunch before she took me home.
When I got home and David had bought me flowers, they were on the counter waiting on me. Thanks, Babe! I opened my bag I had a little love note from TSA saying they opened my bag for inspection. I wished I could have seen their faces when they opened it; they had to have been surprised.
I unpacked, but stuff is everywhere. I even drove today for the first time in a week. Tomorrow everything gets back to normal; I guess I may have to cook…or not!
It’s great to be home! I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
Ronda
