Three Christmases

Today was our big day to celebrate Christmas. This was the first time that we did a “blended” Christmas and I think it went pretty well. We went to Josh and Angela’s house in Huffman for the gathering.

It was GREAT getting us together, the last time we were ALL together was back in February. We were almost 100% there, poor Wyatt was sick and he wasn’t there and we sure missed having him and his sweet smile there. It is hard work getting 4 houses to come together; at least it is for us. We even had two “first” Christmas’ to celebrate with the arrival of Adley and Kynlee.

We decided to go with a Cajun menu. Angela made Crawfish casserole and I made Crawfish Bisque, we also had garlic bread, cake, and candy.

I am always sad when Christmas is over, I love the music, the movies and all that goes with the holidays. As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and I guess that Christmas falls in that category.

One good thing is that Brok, Candice, Hunter and Hailey are spending tonight and tomorrow night with us. They have been house hopping while they are here, it is a lot of work for them, but we sure all appreciate their extra efforts in trying to let us all enjoy them.

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads. Love and hugs,
Ronda
