Shower for Katie and Kynlee

It has been a pretty busy weekend, last night we were driving home from seeing the movie, “The Butler” with Cathy and Rex and I told David it sure seemed like Saturday night, but not! It was Sunday and the weekend almost gone, it’s a good thing we had a holiday today! I hope you “labor day” holiday has been one of leisure and pleasure, mine has.

Saturday morning we went to mom and Dad’s mowed and came home and started prepping food for the shower. David is so helpful; he did almost all the prep work and then some. He made spinach dip, got the pinwheels done except for baking, and Sunday morning he made the sausage wraps and baked them and then baked the pinwheels. I made the chicken salad and another dip – that was my big contribution!

We had a nice gathering for her shower and she got some really cute things. Wyatt has become quite the Casanova, he has a little “girl” friend, Austin she is about 6 weeks younger than he is and they are so sweet together. I got some cute pictures of them loving on one another, it was precious – funny what they learn at this age!

Austin's expression is priceless and he is pushing on her tummy

Thank you to all the family and friends that took time out of their busy schedule to come by.

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads, love and hugs.
