Needed: More Yard Fairies

No experience needed and the best part – no pay, you just need to be willing to work hard! Ha! We had a good morning and I fixed breakfast for us before we headed back to Mom and Dad’s to work in the yard and it was a good thing, because those pancakes were long gone when we headed home.

We got there around 10. I have to say this is HARD work, especially in the month of August in the Houston area! I was glad that I missed my bike ride this morning; this was going to be hard work. At one point David says, “Is there water dripping from something?”. It was HIM! He is a workhorse like NO other person I have ever seen in my entire life.

Our plan of attack was to get the front two flowerbeds clear and I was going to work on the back porch. In order for me to clear the back porch meant that I had to work some in the garage and that translates to NO BREEZE! We both made our goals, the boys did help some, but they got hot and went in the house to watch television. Jaiden wanted to know where the fan was, we decided there wasn’t one. Darn it!

It took us longer to get our work done than we had planned, but we did have success! We stopped working at 2:30 and headed home. It is a good thing we have a wedding to go to this evening or we might be road kill somewhere! Not really, but I was glad we stopped. Notice I said stopped, we have at least 2 more trips to make to finish the clean up and we haven’t even mowed yet! Not to mention that this is really beginning to cut into my sewing time! 🙂

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads, love and hugs!
