Cutting and Cooking

I normally work on Tuesdays and Thursdays but this week I worked Monday and Tuesday and I’m off the rest of the week. We are gathering here for a sew-in over the weekend and I’m really looking forward to it!

I did my 4th cycling tour tonight and I did better, I guess I feel better than I have the other 3 times. I don’t feel like road kill as much as the past 3 times, so I guess that is progress. There were 9 of us tonight, only 3 girls in the bunch – counting me. Jackie was nice and very encouraging and told me to hang in there, that I was doing good. I finished, that is the main thing! I sure wanted to click my heels together and be home! ☺

Tomorrow is a cooking and cutting day; I’ve got a lot to do. I have had a hard time deciding on what to work on next. I keep looking on my wall of my list of things to do and it is past time to decide! Here’s what I’ve decided…I’m going to do Lincoln’s Watch by Red Crinoline Quilts in Reds! I need 10 darks, 5 mediums and 5 lights, I also need borders, but this is a start!

I pulled all my fabrics a while back and I’ve been wondering if I should or shouldn’t – so I’m doing it!

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads, love and hugs.

I enjoy piecing quilts and getting to know people, as well as sharing the information I have on sewing. I love the sense of accomplishment once I'm finished.
