I’ve Seen the Light!

The LightPad that is! I have to say I don’t think I ever really thought I needed a light box, but when I started working on my Flourishes blocks, this sure made it a breeze trying to see the pattern and get the placement just right.

I signed up for a 2013 Summer Block of the Week through Primitive Gatherings Quilt Shop for 13 weeks and they recommended the light box tool on their supply list, so I decided that I may need to invest in one. I’m pretty excited about this wool block of the week, I’ve never really worked with wool (other than some pincushions) before so it will be interesting and I hope to learn this process. I’ve ordered the threads, but they haven’t all come in yet, so I have not started it yet, I’m just collecting all the blocks and my collection is growing weekly!

Another new tool for me is the Frixion pen; this is what I used to trace the pattern on the fabric. It is erasable and it works too!

If you are thinking about which one to get this LightPad is really a great one, the LED light gives out a great and bright light. Ivy, thank you!

Oh, an update on my bike ride. I didn’t get to go tonight due to the rain – darn it! I was saved, or I saved them from having to ride with a slow rider. 🙂 Now I have a gym date in the morning!

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads, love and hugs.

Good decision. I got a light box for Christmas, but it was much smaller. Haven’t used it yet.
