Ricky’s Resort

We had a great weekend in Hugo, great hospitality and a place that is always a wonderful getaway. He has a very nice piece of property and keeps it maintained for us all to enjoy. He and Cindy moved in around 1997 and they put in a lot of hours to make their house a special home for their 4 daughters and for friends and family to be able to visit, the welcome mat is always out. We all miss Cindy, but we know she is in heaven watching over her beloved family.

The house is a four bedroom, 2 full baths and 2 half baths with a nice open floor plan for the kitchen, dining and den with a spacious dining room.

When you are there, it really gives off the country feel, but you aren’t really out in the sticks, although he does have 15 acres in Hugo.

Oh, I was informed that I didn’t give you the correct information the other day regarding my gate. David had Ricky to make it for me – so it is the best gift that Ricky has ever made for me! 😉 I do love it and cherish it! You will see the one he made for Cindy.

I thought I would share pictures of his home; I tried to tell him he should open a quilt retreat – he chuckled!

We left Hugo around 9 and headed back to Tyler to visit with Kyle and Kara and see Adley. We even worked in a little photo shoot, it was fun, she even initiated Kyle and then me and I didn’t even mind one little bit. ☺

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads, love and hugs.

I enjoy piecing quilts and getting to know people, as well as sharing the information I have on sewing. I love the sense of accomplishment once I'm finished.
