Adventure Moody Gardens

We got off to a good start with pancakes, then off to Moody Garden in Galveston. We decided the best deal was to get the “all day pass”. First stop was the aquarium pyramid. We saw scuba divers, penguins, fish and all kinds of marine life. Next door was the dinosaur exhibit and the boys really enjoyed that. It was nice and all the dinosaurs looked pretty life-like, in fact, Jaiden was kind of scared of them. He said their eyes moved and he didn’t really like that.

Next stop was the rainforest pyramid; they made sure it felt hot and humid. There were lots to see in there, all the vegetation looked really good, nice plants and flowers along with pretty birds, monkeys and even bats. The butterfly section was really neat, the boys tried to hold out their hands to see if they would lite, but they didn’t. I enjoyed watching them try to be patient. We also had a visitor join us at lunchtime, my girlfriend, Cathy drove over to spend some time with us. Thank you, Cathy for joining us.

We had tickets for “Dinosaurs Alive” at 3:15 in 3D. It was very interesting and the boys enjoyed it. After that we decided to leave and skip the water park, since we had pretty well seen all we could.

We had a good time, it was hot but it was very breezy out, which made it very nice!
We made it home in time for me to be able to cook dinner. I’m one lucky girl! 😉

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads, love and hugs.
