Umbrella Assembly

I got home from work today and David had a little surprise for me. My Granny loved Owls; we all would give her owls of all sorts and this was back in the 70’s. I guess when you have 9 children and 24 grandchildren it doesn’t take long for a collection to take off. I think it is funny to see how they are coming back in style and I rather enjoy it. I have very sweet memories of going to Denton, Texas and sleeping on the sofa bed and spending time with my Granny. Anyway, David went shopping at Wal-Mart tonight and found an Owl trashcan for my “playroom”. I love it!

It is raining over here – well not really, but I’m getting ready just in case! Ha! I have a small assembly line going over here, it is going rather slow, but making some progress. I worked, cooked dinner and I’m running low on gas. I do love this pattern though; I think it is so cute. It sure would look cute done up in 30’s or in Kaffe Fassett fabric. I just might have to make another one; well I had better finish this one first!

I am truly blessed; I hope you are blessed by your daily threads, love and hugs.
