I worked yesterday and today since I’m going on a sewing retreat (long) weekend to Madisonville at the Woodbine Hotel. I am so excited I can hardly wait. Over the weekend I prepped for two different projects and then today I got project 3 in the works. So needless to say I’m expecting a lot of “intent” in the next few days! At the worst case, I only get 2 done and the other one will be ready to start once I get home. That is a win, win in my books!
I have my “lovies” all ready and they are packed. I got this sewing group together 3 years ago (with help) because I didn’t know that many sewing people – times have changed! They all didn’t know what lovies were. Lovies are a small token gift that can be bought or homemade to give away to everyone. All the ladies have been very creative, very giving – it has been a lot of fun. So 14 ladies will be sewing up a storm come Thursday and we check out late Sunday.
I picked up the quilt for Adley on my way home today. Thank you, Denise, it sure is cute! The pattern is Pinwheel Parade by Sandy Gervais and I used her fabric line called Snap Pop.
Here’s a couple of pictures, now I just need to do the label and binding.
I hope your daily threads are good to you, love and hugs.
Ronda
