Quilt Show Closing

We had another great show day yesterday. I was surprised by my friend, Peggy we toured the show and had a very nice lunch at the Teapot Depot Express. A very special shout out to her for driving 30 minutes or so to get to our quilt show!

I was asked to do a demo at 2:30 on the Easy Angle ruler, so David wanted to see me do my demo and came up to watch me and then help us all take down the show. He did an amazing job; he offered to take all of our poles that we hang our quilts on to drill holes in the ends. Our current way we use them isn’t this best, so we brought them all to our house.

I have to say it was kind of sad saying goodbye to all of the quilts. They just make me happy, but they had to go to their respective homes and that is what happened. Now all of my quilts are back home and hopefully sometime today I get them back to their place in our house.

Linda H did a bed turning for us 2 times on Friday and 2 times on Saturday; she really did a good job. I thought I would share pictures of her quilts.

Thank you, Linda for sharing all of your quilt treasures!

Unfortunately I did not win the raffle quilt! Darn it! I sure wanted it, I do not know the person who won it, and Jayne C sold the ticket. She is one lucky lady!

I think the last of us rolled out about 6; I know I was home and unpacked by 6:30. My reward was going to Gringo’s for my Mexican food fix! It was just wonderful to be able to completely relax!

For some reason I woke up a little before 2:00 a.m. and I could not go back to sleep so about 2:40 I got up and decided that I could start putting things away and went back to bed a little after 4. At least I was somewhat productive. Today I might even get to sew some! Wahoo!

I hope your daily threads are good to you, love and hugs!
